Protecting historical artifacts: It is distressing for me to hear that people have been vandalizing Native American sites in our area, but it seems that it is going on. We all need a reminder to look with out eyes and not remove artifacts. It can be tempting, but archaeology items are protect by law. This is to protect them for future generations. Let's leave things alone, so everyone can enjoy them for years to come.

This is a webpage designed for my educational design project for my masters. I am working on history with 4th graders. The project is designed to highlight opportunities to see and find history wherever we go. Often it is just a matter of paying attention to the historical objects that are around us everyday and learning more about them. Montana is rich in history and opportunities abound to study it. I participate in history as a hobby, attending events and also reading about it frequently on the internet and with books. I hope you will enjoy studying this page as much as I have had enjoyed putting it together.
