Icy, cold, freezing, any one of these words describe my world in the middle of December in Northwest Montana. But it also means enchanting, fairy tale scenes sometimes. I just had to stop on the way into work and catch this light. I knew it would be gone before long. The sun was just starting to ease above the trees, while the rest of the scene was still and dark yet. It made the old school house seem both mysterious and inviting at the same time.
This blog is about my experiences with western trails, rural country and cities of western Montana. It focuses on Kalispell, and Missoula cities and areas. I am exploring photography of the American West. I like to capture scenes of mountains, animals and Victorian images.
